JOB SUMMARY
The Casino Sales Specialist provides administrative support for the Senior Leadership team as the entire department consisting of approximately 80 Sales Executives.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Has the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies, and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.
- Projects warmth and enthusiasm; builds rapport to strengthen relationships with team members
- Coordinates with leadership team and property partners to schedule travel
- Plans and organizes meetings and events
- Takes and compiles minutes of meetings
- Initiates purchase requisitions
- Orders office supplies and equipment
- Maintains Casino Sales Schedule for 80+ team members and send out to over 500 subscribers weekly
- Manages and submits all payroll information for team weekly
- Manages and maintains department PTO Calendar
- Manages and troubleshoots problems with the office spaces including coordinating with supporting departments (Facilities, EVS, IT, etc.) on needed services (repairs, equipment moves, necessary cleaning etc.)
- Maintains and monitors calendars of the Senior Leadership Team
- Maintains department personnel records
- Reconciles Monthly Pcard statement as needed
- Assists with the planning and execution of department contests, parties, and events
- Creates department communication including: monthly newsletters, emails, contest descriptions, birthday celebrations, recognition certificates, etc.
- Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
- Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- One to three years in an administrative/coordinator role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be comfortable quickly learning multiple computer programs/systems
- Must be able to conduct themselves with the highest amount of integrity and honesty, as this position is privy to sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and auditory cues.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada gaming license
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment to include but not limited to: 10 key adding machine, PC computers, telephone/headset, fax machine, photocopy machine.
- Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to move in and around the Casino/Hotel/Mall areas.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke.
- Must be able to work, for long periods of time, under fluorescent lighting.
- Must be able to work at a desk, for the majority of the day, in a seated position.
- Must be able to spend the majority of the day working off computer monitors and operating a keyboard.
- Although the majority of position will be spent seated at a desk, there will be occasions where candidate must be able to remain on one’s feet for long periods of time, and/or walk for long distances.
