Lead Estimator

Position: Lead Estimator

Our client, a midsize commercial General Contractor located in Peoria, IL, is currently looking for a full-time Estimator with a minimum of 10 years of experience with a General Contractor.

Requirements

• Estimating
• Estimate commercial projects ranging from $50,000 to $5 million
• Hard bid, negotiated, and design/build projects
• Ability to produce schematic estimates
• Detailed cost estimates and takeoffs (including self-performed carpentry)
• Analyze subcontractor scopes and proposals
• Ability to present and explain cost estimates and proposals to owners
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
• Computer skills in estimating software
• Ability to work well with a team
• Strong communication and management skills desired
• Involved in the community
