Major Responsibilities
Communication and Coordination
Answer phones, relay messages, and manage communication systems.
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
Facilitate communication between the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Record Management
Maintain and update electronic health records.
Prepare and manage patient charts and other documentation.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of medical records.
Administrative Support
Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures.
Order medical supplies and manage inventory.
Transcribe doctor's orders and other medical documentation.
Patient Support
Greet and assist patients and visitors.
Address patient inquiries and concerns.
Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of clerical experience, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.
Strong computer skills with the ability to enter and look up data accurately
