We're looking for an exceptional relationship builder to lead our expansion into the U.S. National

Governing Body (NGB) market.

This isn't a traditional sales role.

It's an opportunity to build Uplifter's brand, establish strategic partnerships, and become a trusted advisor to some of the most influential organizations in amateur sport. You'll play a key role in introducing Uplifter to organizations that may not yet know who we are and help shape our long-term growth strategy across the United States.

About the Role

As Director of Strategic Sport Partnerships, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with National Governing Bodies, State Associations, and other sports organizations across the United States.

You'll work directly with CEOs, Executive Directors, Membership Directors, Boards, and senior leadership teams to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Uplifter can help modernize the way they engage, manage, and grow their membership.

This is a highly strategic role that combines business development, executive relationship management, industry networking, and long-term partnership development.

What You'll Do

  • Build strategic relationships with National Governing Bodies and State Associations across the United States.
  • Introduce Uplifter to organizations that may not yet know who we are.
  • Develop and execute U.S. partnership and market expansion strategies.
  • Lead executive discovery meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage strategic sales opportunities from initial conversations through contract execution.
  • Represent Uplifter at national conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership to help shape our U.S. strategy.
  • Become a trusted advisor and ambassador for Uplifter within the American sports community.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sports administration, partnerships, membership organizations, SaaS, or business development.
  • Experience working with or selling to National Governing Bodies, State Associations, membership organizations, or nonprofit sports organizations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with Executive Directors, CEOs, Boards, and senior leadership teams.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and excited by the opportunity to build a new market.
  • Passion for sport and helping organizations succeed.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working within a National Governing Body or State Association.
  • Experience with membership management, registrations, payments, events, or sport technology.
  • Existing relationships within the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic or amateur sports ecosystem.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $110,000 – $160,000
  • Annual Performance Bonus (20–30%)

For candidates with extensive National Governing Body, State Association, or sports technology experience, compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Location

Colorado Springs, Colorado preferred.

Remote U.S. candidates with significant sports industry or National Governing Body experience will also be considered.
