Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Aviata at Santa Barbara in Cape Coral, Florida. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas
- Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving
- Maintain the facility ground
- Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience
- Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested
- Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results
Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred
- You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
