  • Base Salary: Starting $55-$60K per school year,. ( Hours are structured around the academic year calendar, maximizing work-life value, with salary paid over 12 months.)

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Providing comprehensive athletic training services across practices, home contests, and post-season away competitions.
  • Leading preventative/risk reduction initiatives and managing concussion care as the on-site head injury expert.
  • Collaborating with site administrators, team physicians, and coaches on medically eligible athlete lists to ensure compliance and reduced liability.
  • Serving as a positive role model and mentor to enhance overall student-athlete health and wellbeing.
  • Contributing to department administrative logistics (EAPs, supply inventory, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Athletic Training Degree from a CAATE-Accredited Program and National Certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • New York State Athletic Training Licensure in good standing (or eligible) is required.
  • Current Professional Rescuer CPR/AED certification.
  • New graduates and young professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
