Business Analyst – Manufacturing Operations & Data Analytics

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization in Alpharetta, is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to help drive operational performance through data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with manufacturing and operations teams, building dashboards, analyzing complex datasets, and improving business processes through technology and data-driven insights.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for manufacturing and operational leadership
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with production, operations, inventory, and leadership teams to gather business requirements
- Support ERP and data warehouse initiatives by ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Transform raw data into meaningful KPIs, metrics, and executive-level reporting
- Drive process improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role
- Manufacturing or industrial industry experience is required
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex reporting)
- Strong Power BI dashboard development experience
- SQL experience and the ability to query large datasets
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
