Document Control Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Document Control Specialist for a 6+ months contract with a client located in Tulsa OK
Pay Range: $30/hr. - $33.00/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Summary
Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing transmittals and distributing documentation in accordance with project and UOP department requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide weekly reports on the status of all documents in alignment with project requirements, maintaining visibility and tracking throughout each phase of the project.
Support internal and external document requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Assist in defining and implementing project-specific document control requirements to support overall project execution.
Provide ongoing support to project teams, external suppliers, and customers utilizing the UOP Document Management System (ProjectWise), including assisting with project setup within the system.
Maintain a complete and accurate revision history for all documents throughout the project lifecycle, along with an up-to-date document index using the provided project-specific template.
Ensure adherence to UOP Document Control department standards, including document management and retention policies.
Process documents within 24 hours (one business day) in accordance with the project distribution matrix, while maintaining compliance with defined budget hours and established procedures.
