Part-time Motor Pool Dispatcher

The Part-time Motor Pool Dispatcher is responsible for performing the dispatching of vehicles and radios to support Terminal activities.

• Assign vehicles and radios to labor prior to shift, logging proper credentials for accountability.
• Communicate with the mechanic's shop to ensure vehicles are serviceable and sanitized.
• Report radios with communication deficiencies to the department manager.
• Report any equipment not returned or damaged with the employer's complaint filed to the Department Manager.
• Ensure equipment is ready for the next shift.
• Support Terminal's operations during work hours.
• Occasionally, drive through the container yard during busy conditions.
• Support the Security department's needs for additional radios or vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
