Marketing & Events Coordinator

Noria Corporation

The Opportunity

Noria's conferences are built on people; the speakers who share their expertise, the attendees who show up to learn, and the team behind the scenes who make it all feel effortless. We're looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator who loves connecting with people as much as promoting a great event.

You'll report to our Project Manager, who leads speaker recruitment and program development for our conference portfolio, to help find, support and champion the speakers who make our events unforgettable. This isn't a behind-a-screen content role…It's a relationship-driven role. You'll be talking to speakers, learning their stories, and helping tell those stories in ways that get people excited to attend.

At the same time, you'll help us think ahead. Noria runs an exciting, growing global conference schedule, and we need someone who can help build and sharpen marketing plans that keep us ahead of the curve, not just executing what's already been decided, but bringing ideas to the table.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to grow your career in events and marketing on a team that's expanding right alongside our conference footprint.

Events You'll Help Bring To Life

  • Machinery Lubrication Conference & Exhibition
  • Reliable Plant Conference & Exhibition

  • Noria's Lubrication Training Events

What You'll Do

Speaker Relationships & Storytelling

  • Serve as a warm, reliable point of contact for speakers throughout their journey from initial outreach through post-conference follow-up
  • Support in speaker recruiting: researching potential speakers, helping craft outreach, and nurturing relationships that turn into confirmed sessions
  • Collect speaker bios, headshots, and materials, and go beyond formatting to find the story worth telling (Why does this speaker matter? What's their angle? Why should someone stop scrolling to read about them?)
  • Help translate speaker expertise into compelling promotional content that builds excitement well before the event starts
  • Support day-of speaker experience; helping speakers feel prepared, welcomed, and taken care of

Marketing Planning & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to build and refine marketing plans for each conference on our global calendar
  • Help identify opportunities to get ahead of our event timelines: flagging risks, proposing enhancements, and helping the team plan proactively rather than reactively
  • Contribute ideas for how we reach and engage attendees and speaker audiences in new ways
  • Write and deploy outreach emails and campaigns aimed at speaker recruitment, attendee registration, and audience engagement

Marketing Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Write social media content that shares speaker stories and builds momentum for upcoming events
  • Maintain a social media calendar and keep campaigns moving across platforms
  • Partner with internal and third-party design teams to bring marketing assets to life, from creating design briefs to ensuring final quality
  • Liaise between marketing, design, and speaker-facing teams to keep everyone aligned
  • Support day-of conference logistics (signage, speaker materials, etc.) to make sure the people side of the event runs smoothly
