EMR USA is looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our Brownsville team. As the first point of contact for customers, vendors, visitors, and employees, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

What You'll Do

As our Receptionist, you will:

  • Welcome customers, visitors, vendors, and employees with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and monitor office access.
  • Provide visitors with directions and general information.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate carrier pickups.
  • Monitor office and breakroom supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Support other departments with administrative projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

This position is primarily based in a professional office environment. The successful candidate should be able to:

  • Sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Operate standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, printers, and copiers
  • Communicate effectively in person and by phone
