Production Helper

10-month hourly employee

7.5 Hours per day

Job Summary

  • Assist with the preparation of food. Follow established food safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control.
  • Assist with completion of logs and records, as applicable to daily tasks.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain food service equipment.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with locally and federally established health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Complete regular training and attend in-service meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Perform other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate good organizational and basic math skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a group
  • Demonstrate skills in food preparation.
  • Food Service Sanitation Certificate required
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift weights to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions

Is under the supervision of the Food Service Manager and Assistant Food Service Manager

Terms of Employment

Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
