Accounts Receivable Specialist

A global manufacturing/distribution company in Milford, CT is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist ideally with 1-3 years of receivables experience

ON SITE POSITION ONLY

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Temp to Perm Rate $28-35/hour

Salaried upon full time placement at $72,000/year (may be more based on your experience)

Full cycle Accounts Receivable responsibilities

Heavy Excel use!

Post customer payments; maintain customer acct balances; process credit/debit notes and adjustments

Monitor aging reports and overdue accounts

Regular collection calls and reminder statements

Negotiate payment plans

Recommend legal action when required

Perform customer account reconcilations; investigate discrepancies

Prepare weekly/monthly aging reports

Month End closing reports and procedures

Support internal and external audits

STRONG numerical and math skills!

Attention to DETAIL!

Proficient in accounting softwares (SAP ERP, Sage300, Quickbooks, Dynamics265 and Excel)

Additional responsibilities as requested/needed
