Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) to join a growing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about helping children achieve their developmental milestones through evidence-based, play-based therapy in a collaborative, child-centered environment.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Feeding Specialists, and Mental Health professionals to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, goals, and functional needs.
- Provide engaging, play-based physical therapy interventions.
- Treat a variety of conditions including developmental delays, gross motor delays, torticollis, plagiocephaly, toe walking, gait abnormalities, balance and coordination deficits, hypotonia, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological disorders.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (Master's degree also considered if applicable to licensure requirements).
- Active Illinois Physical Therapy License.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience required.
Preferred
- Experience with Early Intervention services.
- Knowledge of DIRFloortime, sensory-motor development, torticollis treatment, reflex integration, or neurodevelopmental treatment techniques.
