This position contributes to Starbucks success by coordinating events and engagements for the Global Channel Development team, which amplifies the coffeehouse experience in 87 global markets through At-Home Coffee, Ready-to-Drink, and Foodservice businesses.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive professional who enjoys coordinating events, supporting leaders and teams, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to global partnerships, event planning, and business operations while supporting a high-performing team.
As a senior coordinator, Events and Partnerships, you will…
- Coordinate internal and external events, meetings, forums, and partner engagements from planning through execution.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, venue selection, catering, travel coordination, registration, materials preparation, and on-site support.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars for key team activities involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Track event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and expenses to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Partner with vendors and service providers to support successful event execution.
- Maintain organized records, event documentation, and team resources.
- Support team communications, recognition activities, and engagement initiatives across a global organization.
- Assist with special projects and operational activities that support Global Channel Development priorities.

- Knowledge and basic use of project management practices and tools.
- 1 or more year(s) of experience in a role performing administrative assistant or event coordinator job functions
- 1 or more years of experience in a role managing calendars and email in Microsoft Outlook

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
