JOB OVERVIEW
Purchasing/Estimating Specialist is responsible for the assistance in the development, implementation, execution, and communication of strategies, processes, and procedures to maximize project margin and efficiencies.
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain Current Siding/Roofing Base House Material Budgets
- Review all submitted bids that come in from our trade partners through the Bid Folder within a timely matter.
- Estimate and record all labor bids which will include framing, siding, roofing and trim carpentry.
- Issue/Correct/Approve all invoices.
- Update and distribute current contracts to our trade partners so they can plan accordingly their future workflow.
- Review and scan all work orders into their appropriate file (house file) on the H: Drive.
- Develop and maintain a process to get all IHMS options up to date and maintained efficiently and accurately.
- Work with sales on all necessary preliminary pricing to assist them in getting contracts. This needs to be done in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with all trade partners on pricing, estimating and negotiating in the best interest of Heritage Homes.
- Develop and maintain a system for all receivables on our jobsite and tracking the supply lists that come with it.
- Develop necessary takeoffs for all plans and trades as necessary to ensure accurate pricing.
