Role Description
The Social Media Manager is a part-time position that guides and creates the mechanisms for an effective overall strategy to make us visible in the online community, highlighting our faith and values. We seek a video editor to create content that performs well on social media from videos and pictures of our worship services, ministries, and outreach. The ideal candidate will be responsive, strategic, and a visual storyteller.
You’ll work closely with the ministers and office manager.
Pay is $40 hour for up to 8 hours a week.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to grow and engage online communities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills to create clear, compelling, and inclusive messages.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to plan and organize campaigns, calendars, and thematic series aligned with church goals.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X) and basic analytics tools.
- Relevant qualifications include experience managing social media for an organization, preferably in a nonprofit, community, or faith-based setting.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include basic graphic design or video editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- A high school diploma is required; additional education in communications, marketing, or related fields is preferred.
