Director of Donor Relations

The Director of Donor Relations plays a key role in managing donor relationships and supporting NFRW’s fundraising efforts through donor outreach. At the direction of the NFRW President, this position plans and coordinates donor events held throughout the year, manages the organization’s small online store, and serves as a first point of contact for incoming communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Regents regarding dues payments, renewals, and events.
  • Maintain the Regents list and conduct outreach to past Regents to encourage renewed participation.
  • Implement NFRW’s external fundraising strategy.
  • Monitor online store sales and ship the organization’s small product line.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications among members and staff.
  • Assist staff during semi-annual meetings and the biennial convention.
  • Support project tracking, information storage, and administrative processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the President, including office inventory management.
  • Carry out other activities as directed by the President, including additional outside fundraising efforts.

Salary

  • $68,000-$80,000

Required Skills

  • Administrative, campaign, or office support experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
