Location: Melbourne, FL 32934
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
Founded in the 1870s, we are a 700 employee design, engineering, and construction firm with about 50 employees based in Melbourne, FL. We specialize in large aerospace and industrial construction projects, serving clients in aviation, defense, and advanced manufacturing. Experience in aerospace environments is strongly preferred due to the technical complexity and scheduling precision required for these programs. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for building and maintaining construction project schedules, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across complex aerospace and industrial projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create and maintain detailed construction project schedules using MS Project, tailored to client requirements
- Perform time impact studies, resource loading, and cost analysis to identify risks and delays
- Update schedules regularly, track milestones, and ensure departments meet project timelines
- Work closely with onsite teams, engineers, and project managers to align schedules with scope changes
- Prepare advisory reports for management, highlighting risks, delays, and recommended corrective actions
What You Need for This Position
- 8+ years of construction project scheduling; aerospace project experience is highly preferred
- Strong MS Project skills; Primavera P6 experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Lean Construction Scheduling, Pull Plans, and Takt Plan methods
- Ability to perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and time impact studies
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and present schedule updates clearly
