Established (65+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking a Lateral Partner or Senior Attorney for Insurance Defense Firm in Cherry Hill, NJ; Plainfied, NJ; and Philadelphia!
An established firm with over 65 years in practice and nine offices across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware is seeking Counsel - Insurance Defense with senior to partner level experience to join their team onsite in Mount Laurel or Warren, New Jersey. This Attorney will bring first chair litigation experience across a broad range of insurance defense matters, including construction, employment practices liability, commercial, and real estate disputes, representing insurers and corporate clients from case inception through trial.
Offer
Salary range: $180,000 to $275,000+, based on years of experience and practice level (book of business not required)

Qualifications
Extensive experience handling insurance defense matters from filing through trial
First chair litigation experience is required
Portable book of business is NOT REQUIRED, but is a plus for lateral partner candidates
Bar admission in New Jersey is required, Pennsylvania admission is a plus
Strong academic and professional background with a track record of client-facing responsibility
Comfortable working in office daily with a path to hybrid flexibility over time
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters across construction, employment practices liability, commercial, and real estate disputes
Serve as first chair in depositions, motions, and trials
Advise insurer and corporate clients on litigation strategy and risk
Collaborate with claims professionals and adjusters throughout the litigation lifecycle
Mentor junior associates and contribute to business development efforts
