Requirements
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Current and proficient Bone Density (DEXA) exam experience is a hard-stop requirement
- Position is for a DEXA Technologist, not a DEXA Technician
- X-ray duties are not required
License Required
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiography License
Certifications Required
- ARRT (R)
- AHA BLS
First-timers accepted: Yes
Skills Required
- Bone Density (DEXA) examinations
- Bone mineral density (BMD) testing
- Patient positioning for DEXA studies
- Radiation safety
- Image acquisition and quality assurance
- Epic EMR documentation
- Independent workflow in a bone density clinic
