July 9, 2026The Town of Sudbury is currently accepting applications for the position of GIS and Database Coordinator/Systems Administrator in the Information Systems Department. The GIS & Database Coordinator/Systems Administrator is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the Town Geographic Information System (GIS). The position will also be responsible for assisting the Technology Manager in providing system support of municipal project, programs and other related work as required.This role involves frequent contact with other Town departments, elected officials, residents and others on matters that are often complex, sensitive and/or confidential. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required, including considerable patience, courtesy, discretion and tact.Typical qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’ Degree in GIS, computer science, geography, cartography, planning, or a related field, and 3-5 years of technical expertise in GIS Management and database implementation; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.The anticipated pay range for this position is $43.00 – $46.00 per hour, and the work schedule is 14 hours per week. Starting pay is based on qualifications.
