Akkodis is seeking a Part Pricing Associate for a 6+ Months Contract position with a client located in Fountain Valley, CA

Pay Range: $25/hr - $32/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

1. Purpose

~ The Associate, Parts Pricing position is responsible for the daily application of Market-Based Pricing for parts and accessories.

~Supports management to develop and implement effective pricing strategies for Automotive Client that continue to meet competitive market demands while achieving corporate profit objectives.

~ Monitor pricing actions to evaluate effectiveness and recommend appropriate solutions.

~ Performs market research and studies market conditions relative to parts pricing to ensure that HMA and GMA are competitive in the marketplace.

2. Major Responsibilities

~ Ensures that the price / value concept for Automotive Client is maintained through accurate and timely pricing of all replacement parts and accessories.

~ Application of Market-Based Pricing for appropriate parts and accessories.

~ Performs parts price research to support competitive OEM Benchmark and Aftermarket parts activities and strategies.

~ Ensures the Dealer's Parts Price file is completed correctly and on time.

~ Support the Pricing Manager in developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc status reports, and

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.

~ Prepare, review, and distribute Month End reports.

~ Interfaces with MOBIS on pricing issues and administers resolution.

~ Research inquiries from Field Ops, regions, and internal users related to pricing, and support resolution.

~ Maintain and update all Parts Pricing databases to help ensure data integrity and accuracy of data.

~ Support parts profitability through analysis of historical data, projected incremental sales and gross profit margin.

~ Supports the Parts Sales and Accessories teams to perform analysis of Market-Based Pricing actions to determine promotion effectiveness.

~ Support pricing activities and the implementation of Critical supply part (CSP), Campaign Parts Management (CPM) for campaigns/recalls as needed.

~Assist in other areas of parts pricing, and other duties from management to support the division as needed.

In order of priority, describe the 5-8 responsibilities expected at this position

3. Authority

~ Accept FOB, MSL, MPI pricing from various vendors.

~ Dealer, Wholesale, Suggested Retail, Core charges pricing applications based on department policy.

~ Ability to apply pricing actions and support the implementation of Critical supply part (CSP), Campaign Parts Management (CPM) for campaigns/recalls as needed.

Describe the level of independent judgment this position is expected to exercise in the decision-making process on critical issues, problem identification, problem solving, employee(s) evaluation, hiring, termination, CR/PR/expense report approvals, etc.

4. Job requirements

Education Related Experience Skill/Knowledge Certification required

~ Must be a High School graduate.

~ Bachelor's degree preferred.

~ Two to four years of experience of which at least one year of directly related experience in pricing is desired.

~ Automotive parts operational, parts pricing, parts operational, or parts supply experience preferred.

~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization.

~ Ability to work independently, work under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.

~ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

~ SQL, AS/400 or mainframe experience desired.

~ Ability to thrive in a team environment.

~ Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

~ Excellent analytical and numerical skills. ~ None
