About The Position

Mojave Water Agency (MWA) is seeking a Director of Finance, to serve as the Mojave Water Agency's senior financial executive and a trusted strategic advisor to the General Manager, providing executive leadership over the Agency's financial operations, fiscal strategy, and long-term financial sustainability. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape the Agency's financial future while working closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors on key organizational initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker with strong business and financial acumen who can lead budget development, audits, financial planning, and complex financial reporting. Experience with the California State Water Project, state contract water agencies, or the water utility industry is highly desirable.
