Pay Range: $29.42 $38.69 per hour
We are looking for an ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY ANALYST !
This position conducts routine & advanced laboratory testing and environmental sampling, maintains analytical equipment, performs quality control activities, and ensures adherence to SOPs and safety requirements; manages laboratory data, documentation and reporting to maintain accurate, defensible records; supports industrial pretreatment, environmental monitoring and continuous process improvement efforts; all while ensuring all work meets strict standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conduct laboratory testing and environmental sampling to support wastewater treatment operations and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain analytical equipment, perform quality control activities, and ensure adherence to laboratory SOPs and safety requirements.
- Manage laboratory data, documentation, and reporting to maintain accurate, defensible records.
- Support industrial pretreatment, environmental monitoring, and continuous process improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science or a related field
OR
Associates degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science or a related field
- At least 2 years related experience
- Experience with office and communications equipment and software
- Highly proficient with MS Office software and databases
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
