Our client in the electronic safety industry is seeking a talented freelance Video Editor to support their Corporate Communications team. This is a part time freelance role, expecting 20 hours per week through the end of the year. This is role is remote, but the candidate will need to be located in South Florida so they could come on-site occasionally to assist with studio-type video support and corporate hybrid town hall events.

This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who enjoys both post-production editing and hands-on production support. The successful candidate will create engaging video content that showcases employees, executives, company initiatives, and brand stories for both internal and external audiences.

While the primary focus of this role is video editing, the individual will also assist with studio productions and corporate hybrid events as needed, so experience in live events or hybrid events is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing (Approximately 60% of Role)
  • Edit short-form video content, typically two minutes or less in length
  • Transform raw footage and scripts into compelling, polished stories
  • Add graphics, motion elements, music, color correction, and other post-production enhancements
  • Develop engaging content featuring employees, executives, and company initiatives
  • Produce videos for both internal communications and external-facing brand storytelling
  • Manage review and approval workflows through Frame.io
  • Organize project timelines and deliverables using Asana
  • Video Production & Event Support
  • Assist with onsite video shoots at the Boca Raton headquarters
  • Capture footage for executive interviews, employee stories, and corporate communications initiatives
  • Support studio-style productions and live/hybrid corporate events
  • Assist with quarterly town halls and executive communications broadcasts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production execution

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling through video
  • Advanced proficiency in:, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects
  • Frame.io
  • Strong color correction and color grading skills
  • Experience working from raw footage and scripts to create finished content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be located in South Florida
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to Boca Raton as needed
  • Must provide and utilize own production equipment as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Corporate communications, internal communications, or brand storytelling experience
  • Experience creating executive communications content
  • Experience supporting live or hybrid events
  • Photography skills are a plus
  • Experience working with senior executives and leadership teams
