Toledo, OH | Full-time, on-site | 5–6 month contract with a path to permanent
Women of Toledo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating, engaging, and empowering women and girls across Northwest Ohio. A program of Inclusive for Women Inc., we support over 427,000 women and girls through initiatives in Economic Development, Mentorship, Advocacy, and Community Engagement — helping remove barriers to economic advancement and interrupt bias in the marketplace, workplace, family, and community.
We're looking for a steady, strategic leader to step into this role for a 5–6 month engagement, with a clear path forward: either transitioning into the permanent ED position, or helping support a permanent hire's transition if one is chosen through a broader search.
What You'll Do
→ Partner with the Board to guide organizational strategy and growth
→ Lead staff across programs, operations, and development
→ Drive fundraising strategy and manage cash flow
→ Build relationships with funders, donors, and community partners
→ Serve as the organization's primary spokesperson
→ Oversee budgets, compliance, and program quality
→ Represent Women of Toledo publicly to build visibility and partnerships
What You Bring
→ Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
→ 3–5 years of leadership and community outreach experience
→ 2+ years of nonprofit experience with diverse communities
→ A track record in fundraising, donor cultivation, and grant writing
→ Budget development and financial oversight experience
→ Strong problem-solving skills and grace under pressure
→ A genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Compensation: Starting at $65,000/year (40 hrs/week), based on experience
