Overview

Sentara Leigh Hospital is seeking a Full-Time, Evening Shift Environmental Services Tech II (Team Lead) to support the Environmental Services Department.

Hours/Shift

• Full-time: FT, Evening Shift, working from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and every other weekend

Environmental services professionals who have been trained by subject matter experts in the 7 domains of environmental services as defined by the Association for Healthcare Environments.

1-year environmental services tech experience within Sentara. Has completed the AHE CHEST program and passed the written exam.

1 year of Housekeeping/ESD experience is required in lieu of High School Education.

As an Environmental Services Technician with Sentara, you will be working around patients in housekeeping. This position's primary duties include cleaning the patients' rooms, hallways, and any spills. You will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained in other areas. • High School Grad or Equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

• 1 Year Environmental Services Experience (Required)
• Leadership Experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Customer Service Experience (Strongly Preferred)

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977. Our hospital completed a renovation in 2016, including two new patient towers, a beautiful atrium, and a multi-story parking garage. Sentara Leigh Hospital includes a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital providing patients access to a full continuum of orthopedic care, from the preoperative phase and surgery to rehabilitation and home care services.
