Now Hiring | Director – Insurance & Risk Management

Location: Remote or Hybrid (White Plains, NY)

Duration: 3 Months (30 hours/week) | Extension possible (not guaranteed)

We are looking for an experienced Director – Insurance & Risk Management to lead enterprise-wide insurance strategy, risk management, and governance for a leading global food & beverage organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise insurance and risk management strategies.

Manage commercial insurance programs including Property, General Liability, Product Liability, Workers' Compensation, D&O, EPL, Cyber, Environmental, Marine, Crime/Fidelity, Product Recall, and other specialty coverages.

Lead insurance renewals, broker negotiations, underwriting submissions, and policy reviews.

Oversee major claims management and loss prevention initiatives.

Review contracts for insurance, indemnification, and risk transfer provisions.

Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, IT Security, and executive leadership.

Support mergers, acquisitions, capital projects, and enterprise risk initiatives.

Manage broker, carrier, and third-party vendor relationships.

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience leading corporate Insurance & Risk Management programs.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, claims management, and enterprise risk management.

Experience negotiating with insurance carriers and brokers.

Experience supporting contractual risk reviews, M&A activities, and strategic business initiatives.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
