We are partnering with a well-established, employee-focused engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing MEP team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Professional Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working on mission-critical facilities in healthcare, research, laboratory, federal, and other highly specialized markets.

What You'll Do
- Lead the design and analysis of electrical building systems from concept through construction.
- Prepare calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Perform site assessments, field investigations, and technical evaluations.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand project goals and deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Review designs, calculations, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
- Assist in resolving construction-phase and field-related engineering challenges.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 7+ years of experience in building systems design within a consulting engineering environment (10-12+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and building electrical systems.
- Experience with electrical analysis, code compliance, and quality control.
- Proficiency with specification development, Bluebeam or Adobe, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to mentor technical staff and collaborate across disciplines.
- Ability to travel occasionally as project needs require.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to project requirements.
