Bowery is hiring bakers for our line that produces high quality sandwich breads, rolls, and buns. We are currently delivering 10 products and planning for further expansion. Hours are 4am-noon or 6am-2pm.

Our ideal team member should have at least one year of experience in a commercial bakery, mixing and shaping yeasted bread doughs.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • daily production: scaling, mixing, shaping, and baking
  • following detailed formulas and processes
  • maintaining sourdough starters, poolishes, levains, etc.
  • maintaining the highest level of quality standards
  • cleaning, organizing, staging, and other tasks as required

This position requires you to be able to lift 50lbs, be on your feet for long periods of time, and adhere to production schedules. Our small team works six days a week, so weekend shifts will be required.
