The Supply Chain Inventory-IS Analyst supports the delivery of services to customers by maintaining sufficient inventory to meet customer needs in a timely manner and is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Infor/Lawson ERP system. The incumbent supports the work of the patient care value analysis team and serves as an inventory consultant in reporting on all supply inventories and service lines. In addition, the incumbent serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts in ensuring data integrity; testing system changes; performing data uploads and queries; and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The incumbent performs critical processes related to security, month-end reports, scheduled jobs, EDI vendor maintenance, and data research and normalization, and supports Infor/Lawson system upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. Proper execution of this role results in a high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain service to improve patient outcomes.

Essential Functions:
- Maintains the necessary supply levels through monitoring, reports and adjusting inventory levels based on usage through accurate and timely electronic documentation of transactions.
- Collaborates with Purchasing and service lines to minimize interruptions in service, supply shortages and overall inventory management improvement.
- Oversees quarterly cycle counting and maintains the physical inventory and other service line databases as needed.
- Provides Supply Chain leadership with information from quarterly cycle counting, supply utilization or other circumstances that may affect operations or budget planning.
- Meets or exceeds standards of compliance for all accreditation and regulatory organizations in the area of procurement and distribution of supplies.
- Serves as a consultant and trainer for best practices in inventory management.
- Recommends process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions and supporting policy updates. These recommendations have significant value when leadership is considering matters of significance in meeting the business objectives prior to their approval for implementation.
- Project manager for supply and equipment conversions in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.
- Plays an integral role in reviewing, testing and implementing system upgrades and patches.
- Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of upgrades.
- Maintains system tables, documents processes and results.
- Provides support for researching and resolving production issues and recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Maintains the item master as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.
- Places orders for supply replenishments in a timely manner.
- Performs requisitioning and purchasing functions as assigned.
- Educates end users on Requisition Center and other Lawson functions.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- 5 years of related inventory experience or progressive experience in a hospital inventory environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and data, including master data, inventory management, purchasing, and contracting, to ensure correct implementation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools.
- Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding of GPO and contracting processes related to price files and maintenance.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
- Ability to use usual and customary equipment required to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Systems implementation experience.
