Quality Improvement Coordinator / Registered Nurse (RN)

This full-time remote RN role in Norfolk, VA involves leading quality improvement initiatives and managing special projects to enhance population health and compliance.

  • Lead multi-year QI projects, develop plans, monitor progress, and report to leadership.
  • Conduct monthly EPSDT medical record reviews, ensuring documentation compliance and quality.
  • Coordinate investigations of critical incidents, including abuse, neglect, and safety concerns, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
  • Perform data analysis, create reports, and track KPIs to support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure regulatory adherence to Medicaid, CMS, and accreditation standards, maintaining accurate documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate across departments and with external providers, offering education on quality standards and documentation.
  • Utilize quality tools and systems to track initiatives, analyze data, and ensure data integrity.
  • Require a nursing diploma or associate’s degree, RN license preferred, with 3+ years in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in diverse nursing settings and health plans is advantageous.
