Position Summary
We're looking for a professional, customer-focused Sales Support Coordinator to join our Pasadena, TX team. This position serves as an important link between our customers, Outside Sales team, and internal departments to ensure a smooth and responsive sales process.
The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in staying organized, following through on commitments, and delivering excellent service. What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and urgency.
- Partner with Outside Sales Representatives to prepare quotations, verify pricing, and provide product availability information.
- Process customer orders accurately and monitor them through completion.
- Assist customers with product selection, applications, and general product information.
- Follow up on quotations, order status, and customer requests to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing details, and order information within company systems.
- Research and resolve order discrepancies, shipping concerns, and billing questions.
- Continue building product knowledge to confidently support customers and the sales team.
- Contribute to a collaborative, customer-first environment that supports branch growth and operational success.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, sales support, or an office environment is preferred.
- Exposure to industrial, hydraulic, mechanical, or technical products is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable learning new software and using business systems such as Microsoft Office; ERP or CRM experience is beneficial.
- Dependable, positive, and motivated to provide outstanding customer service.
- Eager to learn, grow professionally, and become a valuable member of the team.
