Role Overview

This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of medical staff in an outpatient treatment center specializing in Opioid Use Disorder. Responsibilities include administering medication, managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, collecting fees, disposing of medical waste, conducting lab tests, and scheduling patient visits. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, participating in audits, and engaging with patients and the public.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active LPN license in the state
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient contact experience
• Knowledge of opiate addiction, medical terminology, and nursing techniques
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and basic typing skills
• Understanding of medical safety protocols and inventory management

Key Duties

• Administer and record medication doses
• Conduct inventory and ensure accurate medication tracking
• Collect patient data, perform lab tests, and monitor vital signs
• Schedule and screen patients for medical review
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and assist with audits
• Engage with patients and visitors, ensuring quality service
