Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks a highly motivated Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join the Human Resources team. The Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to the operations of the Human Resources Division.
Primary Duties :
- Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources Division and provide administrative support across all functions of the Division.
- Provide direct support to the Director and Deputy Director of Human Resources.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing and distributing new hire letters, assigning new hire onboarding tasks, facilitating new hire orientation as needed, and ensuring accurate completion of personnel records and required forms.
- Coordinate employment changes, including drafting official correspondence, updating records in the HRIS system, and filing all required documentation.
- Manage personnel and compliance records, including coordinating background check process, pre-employment requirements and employment verifications.
- Maintain accurate BambooHR personnel records, including documentation updates and generation of HR reports.
- Provide general support including receiving and distributing mail, screening visitors and telephone calls, responding to routine inquiries, supporting the office programs and initiatives.
- Manage and update HR documents and resources on the internal SharePoint Intranet to ensure staff have access to current materials.
- Maintain various personnel reports and tracking spreadsheets.
- Oversee the HR ticketing system by assigning, tracking, and monitoring requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Support HR leadership with special projects, program development, process improvement initiatives, and policy updates.
- Act as the Division contact and interact with all levels of staff and members of the public. Perform other projected related duties as assigned in support of the Human Resources Division
Position Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree, or at least two (2) years of administrative support experience, preferred.
- Working knowledge of BambooHR, Workday, or other HR Information Systems, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage work independently, monitor timelines, and balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds

Position Type : Full-Time/ Non-Exempt. The candidate hired to fill this position will work three days in office and two days remotely.
Salary: $58,290
