Position Summary

The Manager, Lung Oncology Operations & Strategic Programs, serves as a critical business partner supporting the execution of strategic initiatives across the Lung Oncology portfolio. This role is responsible for enabling operational excellence across congress engagement, customer analytics, and promotional review processes to ensure successful delivery of portfolio objectives.

This Marketing initiative will be working closely with the Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), Medical Affairs, Compliance, and external stakeholders. This individual will drive operational execution, advance data-driven decision making, and ensure seamless coordination of key business activities. This role requires a highly organized and strategic professional who can manage complex projects, influence cross-functional teams, and translate business priorities into actionable plans that enhance organizational effectiveness and customer impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Congress Operations & Execution

  • Lead operational planning and execution support for major national and international Lung Oncology congresses and scientific meetings.
  • Ensure alignment and successful implementation of conference-related business objectives, deliverables, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Drive post-congress action planning and accountability by coordinating follow-through activities across internal teams and external partners.
  • Establish and maintain processes that enhance efficiency, visibility, and execution excellence across congress-related initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to maximize the strategic value and business impact of conference investments.

Business Analytics & Insights

  • Deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions, customer engagement strategies, and portfolio planning.
  • Lead analytics and reporting initiatives that evaluate reach, engagement, and impact across key customer segments.
  • Develop integrated business planning tools and dashboards that provide visibility into organizational priorities, activities, and resource allocation.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization to support data-driven decision making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic action.

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Support operational governance processes related to promotional material review and approval workflows.
  • Ensure efficient coordination of review activities while maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance workflow transparency, efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify best practices and implement scalable operational solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and execution consistency.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, oncology, commercial operations, marketing operations, medical affairs operations, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Oncology, Medical Affairs, or specialty pharmaceutical businesses.
  • Experience with congress planning, scientific meetings, or field engagement programs.
  • Knowledge of promotional review processes and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing dashboards, business reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with customer engagement analytics and strategic planning processes.

The potential base pay range for this role is $160-180,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
