Job Title: Truck Driver

Date Opened: July 20,2026

Pay Rate: $25.64/hr. After 90 days to $28.49/hr.

Hours of Work: 1st shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Location: 27402 72nd Ave S. Kent, WA 98032

Representation: After 30 days, required to become a due paying or financial core member of Int. Brotherhood of Teamsters Union #174.

Job Summary

Drive commercial truck within Washington State to make daily deliveries for metal products manufacturing distributor. Will be assigned to the Kent, Bremerton, Port Angeles and Seattle area routes.

Requirements To Be Considered For Position

  • Application must be filled out completely by the Applicant.

  • Willing to comply with company rules and policies.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Required Essential Job Skills/Experience

  • Must have valid Washington CDL for class A vehicles.
  • 1-3 years experience driving class A vehicles. Will consider evaluating individuals who have recently graduated from trucking school and education as part of experience requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have no more than one commercial driver’s license.
  • Must not have any disqualifying convictions on driving record in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Must not have any preventable commercial vehicle accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Experience tying loads down with straps.
  • Experience using flatbed trailers.
  • Experience tarping load for weather.

Required Essential Job Functions/Duties

  • Make local deliveries of metal goods according to routing schedule.
  • Pick up metal from customers and other company locations within Washington State.
  • Complete vehicle inspection report daily prior to leaving on route.
  • Strap down loads on flatbed trailer to assure safe delivery and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Drive in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Other duties as needed.

Familiar with Seattle metropolitan areas.
