Location: Lakeland, FL

Shift: Full Time Day Shift

Salary: $50,000–$62,000 annually

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to lead our activities program, creating meaningful and therapeutic experiences tailored to each resident's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement personalized activity programs that reflect the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
• Collaborate closely with the Administrator to ensure all activities meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain policies related to medical aspects of activity programming.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized activity care plans.
• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure departmental success and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Certified Activities Professional (CAP) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in Activities or Therapeutic Recreation in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
