RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the department. Responsibilities include procurement and distribution of supplies, vendor management, coordination of logistics for agency operations and events, purchase orders, overseeing minor office renovations, equipment upgrades, ensuring all SDRC facilities meet health, safety, and ADA requirements, writing RFP’s, analyzing quotes, equipment upgrades, and assisting with long-term project budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associate’s Degree or professional certification preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of two (2) years of facilities or property management experience required.

OTHER

Ability to oversee contractors, working knowledge of OSHA, fire safety requirements, ADA guidelines, and HIPPA requirements. Review and verify purchase orders, vendor quotes, work estimates, rental agreements, service contracts, financial documents, prepare reports and operational documentation. Capability to quickly diagnose and resolve unexpected building issues; communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain professional working relationships with vendors, contractors, staff, and external partners. Knowledge of electronic billing methods and procedures. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Office space planning, equipment lifecycle management, and facilities operations along with best practices in tracking operational costs. Must be able to lift and handle objects up to 50 pounds. Lifting may be required occasionally during equipment setup and maintenance, and equipment and supply deliveries.

STARTING SALARY

$25.79 to $28.37 an hour
