Director of Admissions, 2 Hour Learning - $200,000/year USD

Crossover

While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this one is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing a school model of uncommon ambition. Our campuses integrate demanding academics with technology-enabled learning and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons shift focus toward depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model delivers results—but only when families align with its principles. That is your responsibility.

You will control the admissions process for a campus, spanning application to enrollment. This is not a coordination role. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate substantive discussions, and advocate for declining admission when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is mutual fit.

We welcome candidates from premium service settings outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership organizations, or owner-operators with direct accountability for high-value client experiences. The critical factor is your capacity to manage a high-touch, phased process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your career has centered on delivering white-glove service where trust, discretion, and experience define the brand, this position will be recognizable. Apply now to apply that standard to meaningful work.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Directing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial inquiry to onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating needs-assessment dialogues to evaluate fit prior to proposing solutions or advising on next actions.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements at varying enrollment stages, with transparent tracking of status and follow-up requirements.
  • Guiding campus visits, shadow day experiences, and enrollment conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and model suitability with clarity.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment data management (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and sustained service excellence.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Employing transactional or high-pressure enrollment strategies.
  • Admitting families whose values or needs conflict with the model merely to meet targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or operating within complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing family experience ownership across multiple staff members.
  • Performing this work remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

  • Experience managing 20+ simultaneous client, guest, or family relationships across different stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization method.
