The role

  • Category Expertise: Become a subject matter expert for assigned categories on Amazon, delivering insights on Gildan and competitor performance. Identify trends in consumer behavior, conversion drivers, and competitive positioning to inform growth strategies
  • Data Integrity & Content Optimization: Ensure accuracy and completeness of item setup and PDP content. Proactively identify and resolve listing issues (e.g., suppressions, broken pages, incorrect content), and recommend optimizations to improve conversion and discoverability
  • Budget & Trade Support: Support trade and promotional budget management, including tracking, reporting, and performance analysis. Partner with leadership and finance to recommend optimized spend based on market dynamics
  • Business & Performance Analysis: Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and market data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to drive revenue, margin, and efficiency improvements
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to monitor performance and enable faster, data-driven decision-making
  • Problem Solving & Analytics: Frame business problems into analytical approaches and develop solutions that address key challenges and opportunities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product to align on priorities and execute strategic initiatives
  • Communication & Storytelling: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations tailored to business stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities; stay current on eCommerce and Amazon trends to drive innovation
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Support strategic initiatives and leadership requests through timely, insights-driven analysis

The Requirements

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in business or quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, data analytics.

Specific Skills Or Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 1+ years of work experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central (Seller Central experience a plus)
  • Understanding of key eCommerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, etc.) and retail math
  • Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and visualization techniques
  • Ability to align analytical work with business objectives and influence decision-making
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story using data
  • Knowledge of retail operations, product lifecycle, and/or supply chain is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support data analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency is a plus
