Full Job Description
SA Recycling – South Texas Region, is currently looking for an Offsite Demolition lead man to join our Values based organization. This position will be based in our Brownsville, TX facility.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the crew by assigning and coordinating daily work activities.
- Support the Foreman/Supervisor in managing workflow, schedules, and productivity.
- Work alongside the crew and perform the same job duties as needed.
- Identify and resolve routine job-site issues; escalate major concerns promptly.
- Ensure all employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and wear required PPE.
- Monitor work quality and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Train, mentor, and assist new and existing employees.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.
- Report safety hazards, equipment issues, injuries, and incidents immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

- Maintain OSHA requirements, work rules, and safety protocols while collaborate with service providers to ensure efficient, cost-effective preventive maintenance
Requirements
- Must pass a medical physical and drug test
- Must pass a background check and credit check
- Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
- Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands
- An understanding of the metal market well enough to negotiate pricing, delivery process, and production demands
- Possess interpersonal skills to gain support of workforce and clientele when conducting business

Qualifications
- 3-5 years minimum experience in Supervising others
- Experience in Demolition including the use of tools and equipment
