What You’ll Do
- Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements
- Inspect equipment and building systems for safe, proper function
- Handle incoming and outgoing freight and run errands as needed
- Move furniture and equipment around the building
- Assist with resident evacuation during emergencies
- Work alongside other departments to keep the building running
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Available for full-time days, a weekend on-call rotation, and rotating holidays
- Alert, detail-oriented, and able to make sound decisions on your own
- Able to work well with residents, families, staff, and vendors
- Maintenance or trade experience welcome, but we’ll train the right person
Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand, bend, stoop, walk, and reach throughout the shift
- Lift, push, pull, and move heavy furniture and equipment
