As a RETAIL Assistant Buyer, you'll be a crucial part of our purchasing team, ensuring our stores are stocked with the best products at the best prices. You'll play a key role in maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting our stores' success.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements
Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage inventory and pricing effectively.
Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors, stores, and the purchasing team.
Organizational: Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Team Player: A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate and support others.
Retail Experience: a minimum of 2 years experience working in a retail environment is required.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
Manage weekly ordering for assigned product categories and/or stores, ensuring accuracy and meeting order deadlines, and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate cost and retail pricing information, optimizing profitability and customer value.
Assist stores with pricing special orders, they have placed.
Monitor and adjust minimum/maximum inventory levels to meet purchasing needs and maintain optimal stock positions.
Participate in maintaining weekly records related to budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
Ensure purchase order accuracy and integrity, minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency.
Ensure accurate product entry and data management in our systems.
Collaborate with the purchasing team on product entry/exit strategies and inactivation.
Provide support to stores during emergencies, including coverage as needed.
Conduct competitive shopping to analyze product offerings and pricing strategies.
