Development Associate

Fraser, Ltd.

We’re hiring a Development Associate to help advance Fraser, Ltd.’s mission through fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnerships. In this role, you’ll support fundraising initiatives, strengthen donor relationships, and help expand resources that empower children, youth, and adults across our programs.

What You’ll Do

Fundraising & Development

  • Support the planning and implementation of fundraising initiatives to meet organizational goals
  • Build and strengthen relationships to expand Fraser’s funding base and support long-term growth
  • Coordinate and collaborate on special events, donor campaigns, appeals, newsletters, and fundraising efforts
  • Assist in establishing and achieving strategic fundraising goals in collaboration with leadership

Donor Relations & Community Engagement

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors
  • Identify and develop new corporate funding opportunities including grants, donations, sponsorships, and volunteer partnerships
  • Collaborate on donor cultivation and solicitation strategies to strengthen ongoing engagement and support
  • Represent Fraser, Ltd. in a positive and professional manner at community events and public functions

Prospect Research & Grant Support

  • Research new sources of financial support and identify prospective donors
  • Assist in recognizing and initiating grant opportunities that align with Fraser’s mission and organizational needs
  • Develop community partnerships and associations that foster financial support for Fraser, Ltd.

Communications, Branding & Reporting

  • Support measurable growth and engagement through website, social media, brochures, and communication materials
  • Coordinate fundraising and marketing materials including presentations, displays, booths, and testimonials
  • Record donations, ensure donor acknowledgements are completed, and maintain accurate donor records
  • Analyze fundraising progress and assist with quarterly and annual goal tracking

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10 years of sales, fundraising, or relationship-building experience preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships and achieve annual goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling fundraising messaging
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor database software
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
