Join a growing team where you'll work side-by-side with experienced Press Operators, learning the setup, operation, and maintenance of industry-leading Gallus flexographic printing presses used to manufacture functional labels.

Job Summary and Requirements: The Press Assistant is vital to increasing efficiency by working alongside experienced Press Operators in the setup and safe operation of flexographic printing presses. This role offers a defined career path, allowing Press Assistants to build their skills and advance to Press Operator through our comprehensive three-module training program.

Company Overview: CCL Label Healthcare & Specialty Buffalo is a fast-paced manufacturing facility with approximately 60 employees working across two shifts. Using state-of-the-art Gallus flexographic printing presses, we manufacture critical healthcare and specialty products, including patient wristbands and one-way air valves.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operator by ensuring they have the proper material and supplies.
• Help set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens.
• Ensure rolls of raw material are mounted on the unwind shaft during production run.
• Perform total preventive maintenance on the press and all equipment.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
• Moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Starting salary range: $19.00 22.00/hour, actual compensation will be based on experience.
