The Instrumentman will operate the equipment used for surveying under the supervision of a Party Chief. The Instrumentman will be a champion and leader of our company core values, while maintaining internal and external client engagement and satisfaction.
Some Responsibilities Include
- Loading equipment required for the project into the company vehicle before traveling to the job site
- Operating survey equipment including but not limited to Total Station, GPS, Data Collector, RTK, Magnetometer (land), Tinker and Rasor, M-Scope, Vivax, Radiodetection, and Gradiometer (water)
- Safely and effectively cutting and clearing brush and trees from the line of survey
- Probing pipelines by pushing and pulling probing rods
- Assisting in keeping field notes and making basic calculations that are needed to perform stakeouts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years directly related industry experience
- Valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel for overnight and/or extended stay projects as required
