We’re actively hiring for a Production Helper (Jogger Operator) position at our Arlington, TX plant. If you’re dependable, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills and build a future with us.

Shift: 2nd Shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay: $13.50

Duties & Responsibilities

• Get clear communication as to which ganged jobs are next so there is no disruption on jobs getting cut on time.
• Place printed jobs on jogger to align and have them ready for Cutter Operator.
• Weigh each job according to job specifications.
• Monitor assigned jogging machine to ensure adherence to specifications, adjust as needed to maintain operating speed.
• Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Bindery Supervisor/Plant Management.
• Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Qualification

• At least 1 year experience packing with different paper thickness and general printing process.
• Ability to measure and count accurately.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.
• Ability to safely use hand/power tools.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.

Working Conditions

The Jogger position will work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with loud noises from machines and varying temperatures depending on weather.

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Walking (at least 75% of shift)
• Lifting up to 50 lb.
• Bending/twisting (at least 50% of shift)
