Housekeeper – Hotel

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Housekeeper to join our hotel housekeeping team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and other guest supplies
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other room areas
Dust, vacuum, mop, and perform other routine cleaning duties
Replenish toiletries and in-room amenities as needed
Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing items
Report maintenance problems, damaged items, or lost-and-found articles to the appropriate department
Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures
Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Respond courteously to guest requests when required
Maintain cleanliness in assigned public or back-of-house areas
Complete assigned rooms within the required time while maintaining quality standards
Follow all hotel policies and procedures

Requirements

Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred
Hospitality/hotel experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift during the work shift
Ability to lift and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Good communication and customer-service skills
Ability to follow instructions and hotel standards
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements: This position requires prolonged standing/walking, frequent bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and move housekeeping supplies and equipment.
